I’m leading two 1.25 hour workshops at the 2023 National Puppetry Festival at the University of Maryland on July 20, 2023: Multiplane Puppetry and Flat Mechanics. They are just two of dozens of workshops that will run over 4 days, in addition to shows, symposiums, community parades, and general puppeteer camaraderie. I’m giving a talk on my shadow films during the monthly meeting of the National Capital Puppetry Guild. For Guild members, anyone can join for $20 for the year.

I’ll be talking with Tania Yager about my history, shadow film process and upcoming projects as part of a series of artist talks for the Shadows Across the Globe shadow puppetry Festival. The other speakers include Richard Bradshaw, Claudia Six, Geoffrey Cormier and Larry Reed.
