The Stringpullers return for their 10th year with the St Thomas Day School’s Arts Week in New Haven, CT. This year, thanks to a Specific Opportunity Stipend Grant from the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County, we’ll be staying for the week to develop short table top theater pieces with grades 3-6 to be performed at the end of the program. With a focus on adaptation of classic animal tales, the students will collaborate to storyboard, write dialogue, build sets and puppets, develop characters, direct, and puppeteer, to experience a complete theatrical production process from start to finish on a small, achievable scale. Performances on Friday open to STTDS family and friends.
